Mark your calendars! MaryLovesLocal’s next market is April 28
Is anyone else out of ideas for what to get their folks this Mothers and Fathers Day season? I mean, I’m almost 30, I am out of ideas!
Luckily, we have dozens of small businesses around us that can provide more fun and unique (and probably cheaper!) goodies than the ol’ “Mothers Day Gift Ideas” search on Google is going to get you. We would LOVE to have you at our Mothers and Fathers Day Artisan Market in Quincy this month, where we will have a curated selection of presents perfect for the parents in your life. Even our custom options will be ready in time for May 7!
There will be drinks. There will be snacks. There will be shopping. There will be grilled cheese. It will all be totally awesome. WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU! Details on when and where on the flyer below, and keep scrolling to learn more about the amazing vendors we have coming.

Crafts, gifts and Home Goods
Lexi Mayde, Quincy: Lexi DeConti will be bringing her collection of homemade watercolor greeting cards. She also does calligraphy and custom stationary made to order.
K+ Glass, Duxbury: Rebecca Potash is a passionate glass blower who makes decorations, bowls, glasses and more entirely from scratch. It’s truly amazing to see!
Salty Hands, Weymouth: Ashley Hanson turns oyster and seashells into beautiful ornaments, ring dishes and other goodies! All of her work is ocean inspired and can be customized with the help of a local calligrapher.
CLN+DRTY, Kingston: CLN+DRTY is a line of organic skincare that takes an all-natural approach to traditional skin problems. Their products include oils, face masks and spot treatments.
Al LaFrance, Weymouth: Al is a wood turner who makes custom pens from wood, acrylic and other materials. His hand-turned writing instruments are a perfect gift – especially for hard-to-shop-for dad!
Mind’s Eye Collective, Boston: Analise Austin is a jewelry designer and creator who makes Earth-minded earrings, necklaces and more from metal bits, wire, beads and other materials.
J. Lobes, Rockland: Jessica Nicholson is a mother of two and lover of all things retro. She makes clay earrings that are reminiscent of 60s and 70s styles, as well as those that fit with the season.
Click + Stitch Embroidery, Quincy: From baby blankets to stuffed animals, beach towels to totes, and hats to socks, there’s almost nothing Allyson Yorks can’t customize. Order the perfect personalized gift to be finished just in time for Mother’s Day!
Emily Russ Ceramics: Emily Russ makes functional stoneware pottery heavily influenced and inspired by her New England roots!
Buddha Belly Farms, East Bridgewater: Adrianna will bring her handmade, toxin-free soy candles in delicious scents like maple apple crisp, Nesralla Farm Wildflower Honey and Lime in the Coconut.
Evoke Tintype: Evoke offers handcrafted photographs in the greater Boston area and throughout New England. Tin-type photography dates back to the 1850s and Maureen aims to “lift spirits and warm hearts” with her work.
Bark Club, Weymouth: Bark Club is my absolute go-to for all things pet! They do grooming and more, but my favorite thing is their seasonal toys and adorable selection of dog greats for literally every occasion.
Food and Drink
Mr. Butterscotch Bakes, Scituate: James Kukstis will bring a seasonal selection of homemade and hand decorated cookies for sale, and take custom orders for future events!
Sweet Mama Sauce, Halifax: It’s sweet, but spicy. Subtle, but flavorful. New, but classic. This small batch hot sauce is sure to be a hit with anyone who likes a little extra kick.
Mom On the Go Food Truck, Hanover: This family-run food truck offers four varities of sandwiches and sides on the daily, including an apple, bacon and cheddar, buffalo chicken and pulled pork grilled cheeses! They will be parked right outside the market entrance.
